The use of neuromuscular blockade is not uncommon however, it's associated with many complications such as the increased risk of ICU acquired weakness, prolonged length of ICU stay along with the increased risk of corneal ulceration and VTE. In this episode, we discuss various indications for the use of NMB agents in ICU and review the available evidence on this topic.
